Chic of the Week

Hall of Chic // HRH

I’m pretty sure Kate Middleton is a perfect human. Not only is she gorgeous, fashionable, married to a prince, and blessed with perfect hair – she also loves sailing. We’ve know this for a while, but her most recent public appearance was supporting youth sailing program (amazing), AND she wore a sail boat printed dress.

She’s basically my spirit animal.

(Again with the chic coats too!)

Obviously this dress – which is Somerset by Alice Temperley – is now sold out, though it does say “back in stock soon” so I will wait with bated breath.

In the meantime, I’ve rounded up a few other printed shift dresses/white coat combos for a copy-Kate look!

Chic of the Week // Allison Williams

OK – I don’t watch Girls. I don’t know Miss Williams as an actress at all. However – I love her.
Damn the girl knows how to dress {however, she could work on a new pose, that had on the hip look is getting a little stale…}! Here she is – my current style crush – and the Chic of the Week:

Are you a fan of Allison’s style?

Chic of the Week // Keira

Miss Knightly has been killing it on tour for Anna Karenina – fashion and makeup alike.

wearing… Erdem in LA // Valentino in NYC // Elie Saab in Toronto // Chanel in London
I adore the simplicity of Keira’s makeup – nothing over the top, but it’s still stunning. In New York she paired a matte red lip with simple, dark eyes – and a whole lotta lash action. In LA she rocked a retro winged eye with a pretty pink lip. I especially love how the pink lip color looks with her soft mint dress…
What do you think of her looks? I wish she’d do more exciting with her hair, although the look is appropriate with all her gowns…

Chic of the Week

I’ve always been a fan of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s style. She keeps things so simple and classic – and yet is always on trend. For example – here she rocks a subtle peplum dress with leather accents and a DOUBLE BELT. How much do I love double belting? She even hits the cap-toe shoe trend in a classy, chic way.

So congrats Rosie. Your chic-ness is just plain inspiring. {I’ve already searched out this dress…. just need a few more touches to swipe you look…}

Chic of the Week:: Leslie Mann

How amazing does Leslie Mann look in this Monique Lhuillier dress? BEYOND that’s how. It fits her beautifully, she doesn’t distract from it with any accessories and her loose waves keep the look fresh and fun.

I’m a little bit obsessed with orange dresses lately… here are a few IRL options I might try out… thoughts?

Chic of the Week

So here is HRH Catherine Duchess of Cambridge getting into the Olympic spirit with a little soccer {er.. football} and some ping-pong. Princess or not, I’m seriously impressed with a lady who plays soccer in wedges and looks that chic playing ping-pong.

Oh also – her dress? It’s from Hobbs and is on sale for £35. Way to be Kate, that’s amazing.

Chic of the Week: Emma Stone

I don’t think I spend enough time talking about Emma Stone here. But I LOVE her. Such a stylish lady. Currently she is on a press tour for The Amazing Spiderman, and she keeps knocking it out of the park.  I couldn’t pick just one of her looks to feature – so I’m giving you five.
Hope you can deal with that..

Chic(s) of the Week

The White House Correspondent’s Dinner was last Saturday {so, yes… this is more like the Chic of Last Week… deal} & a few ladies really stood out on the red carpet. Miss Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta and Leslie Mann in a stunning floral frock by Naeem Kahn.

Which gown do you prefer?

Chic of The Week #4

OK – how cute is Rashida Jones at the Golden Globe nominations? I can’t get over the adorable.
I wish I wore glasses – they can be so awesome. And her Moschino dress, Paule Ka blazer, and Barbara Bui pumps? Perfection.
