Crazy for Calla

I’ve discovered a new designer. She lives in France {but is Canadian, not French!}, she’s adorable, and I want to LIVE in her Fall Collection.  Pretty print-on-print action, sweet silhouettes, bright tights, and darling jackets. It is a whole lot of girly goodness and I am in looooOoooove! Meet Calla

Are you in love yet?

NYFW – Inspired by Taylor Tomasi Hill

Durring fashion week there are so many outlets for lust worthy items – the runways being a clear source… but street style has really been inspiring me this week {I’m even starting a list of tricks one can use to get shot by street style photogs…} One look that I especially need to make mine is this one worn by the always fab TTH. Neon jeans and combat boots? Yes please!

no 1 – topshop // no 2 – 7 for all mankind // no 3 – j brand // no 4 – tawny // no 5 – steve madden // no 6 – madewell

What do you think? Do you have a favorite option?

P is for Pretty

Elie Saab always gets me. His Spring Ready to Wear collection wowed on and off the runway. He took the colors the other direction for his Spring Couture collection – going from bright, bright, bright to pretty, pretty pale.

I love the details of this collection. The little bow belts, the sleeves and sheer layers. Can you say Oscars?? {please please please please please!?!}

This is Karl Lagerfeld’s take on saggy jeans and slouchy sweatshirts. With dropped waists, stretched necklines and pretty much every shade of blue – he makes slouchy super chic.

I can’t get enough of the structured royal blue number with the sparkly blue shoes – it’s a little Pan Am, but it works.

Style Thief… Atlantic-Pacific

Sometimes style bloggers look super-chic, sometimes quirky or crazy and every once and a while {okokok, most of the time} EXACTLY how I’d like to look. Blair, of Atlantic-Pacific falls into the latter category more often than not.
One of her most recent posts is beyond. I NEED to re-create this look – the perfect classic-casual style. {and stripes. you know how I feel about stripes…}

Erin Fethersonton = Pre-Fall Magic

I think the most important question we have to ask ourselves about this collection is – did they know the model would be in front of a mirror so they made sure her hair was awesome? OR did they see her awesome hair and stick a mirror behind her?

These are the things that keep me up at night…

Also, I suddenly feel like I need a lot more girly dresses…

Pre-Fall Preview

Just quick break from our regularly scheduled programing – because Pre-Fall collections are here!
Mullet dresses seem to be a thing still {some days I love them, some days I hate them.} But pleats and lace are still in the mix too {yay!} And I’m pretty into this teal-pink-black color combo that’s happening here…

What do you think chicettes? DKNY and Rachel Roy are my favorites….
