I wanted to start this post with a little re-cap of the ladies I imaginary styled for Sunday’s big event. With the exception of Felicity Jones, I am happy to report I would place them all on the best-dressed list!
Resse Witherspoon was stunning in a black and white Tom Ford gown, not even close to what I picked, but I’ll forgive her. Sienna Miller picked a black Oscar de la Renta dress, and looked just gorgeous. Jen was in a nude Atelier Versace number that was probably more stunning the the one I picked for her. I was NOT a huge fan of Felicity Jones’ Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen ball gown – but she did look amazing – and so happy!!
NEXT – Emma Stone. I wanted Emma to wear a beaded black Elie Saab dress with short sleeves – she opted for a beaded chartreuse Elie Saab dress with long sleeves.
SOOOOO close. I have to say, I’m glad she did. She looked stunning.
Bonus pic of Jen and Emma, because they are amazing.
AND NOW. KEIRA.
YOU GUYS – remember how I said that my predictions have never been right??? Well, I broke the losing streak Sunday night because Keira Knightly wore the Valentino dress I picked for her. And it looked just as dreamy and whimsical as I wanted it to. AHH!
As if that was not enough – she also wore a black Valentino gown to the Vanity Fair after party that I’d had on my wish list!! AHHH again!!
Not many of my other wish-list picks made appearances – but Faith Hill was a knock out in J. Mendel (from my list!)
Beyond that I’d put Gwyneth Paltrow, Rosamund Pike, Zoe Saldana, and Anna Kendrick at the top of my best dressed list.
Who were your favorites?
